This piece was an experiment in allowing myself to get more abstract with my color choices, and not necessarily sticking so close to reality. Since this painting was created around the Easter season, it seemed fitting to give the whole piece a more pastel color palette. This was a joy to work on, and I intend to take what I learned from this piece and apply it to future paintings with abstract color palettes. Also, for those who may be wondering, the title is a reference to the 1978 film adaptation of my all-time favorite novel, Richard Adams' "Watership Down".
